Tablet PC

Choosing the best tablet pc all depends upon your needs. Sometimes, selecting an inexpensive tablet pc might not be a good decision, especially if the features and benefits are limited.

If you are thinking of getting your hands on a discount tablet pc, you first need to decide the style that is best for your needs.

First of all, there are several brands that have them available, such as Acer, Asus, HP, Dell, Nokia and Samsung, just to name a few.

Tablet PC’s are available in 2 basic models, the slate and the convertible.

Slate models are pretty much like flat panel screens. It is used with a stylus and has slots to add accessories such as a keyboard or usb devices.

Convertible models look like your typical notebook computer, however, the screen can be rotated 360 degrees and often times uses a stylus to key in information.

Both styles pretty much operate in the same manner, so deciding between either the slate or convertible styles boils down to a matter of your personal tastes and preferences.

Here is a quick review for my favorite tablet PC’s:

ASUS T91- This is a convertible tablet pc that can is available for around $450. It is said to be one of the smallest, slimmest and lightweight models in the world. If you are looking for a portable PC and enjoy computing on the go, this is a unit you should strongly consider.

HP Paillion TX2500Z – It is also a convertible tablet PC that sells for around $950. I really like the fact that it has a large 12.1? high-def touch screen and a keyboard that is large enough that you don’t feel cramped when typing. Many computer review sites rate this model as one of the best tablet PC’s available.

Dell Latitude XT2 – A high-performance system designed with intuitive input capabilities including a capacitive multi-touch screen and pen. With just a stroke of your fingertips, you can:scroll through large web pages, zoom in on graphics, photos or online maps and enlarge emails to aid reading. This unit is for the person who loves all the bells and whistles. It can be found for around $1000 on sale.

Above are just a few of my favorites. If you are ready to buy one or are just thinking about it, I suggest you visit several shops to compare prices. This way, you are sure to get the very best deal possible for a cheap tablet PC.
