HP Docking Stations

Those who use HP Docking Stations love them because it makes connecting desktop gear fast and easy. This is great because you no longer need to connect bundles of cables to your notebook, laptop or tablet pc.

HP Docking Stations

They are ideal for those of you who use the same laptop for home and work, as you can easily begin your computing tasks with a single cable connection.

In a nutshell, HP docking stations are easy to set up and go a long way in making your day to day activities much simpler.

One of my favorites is the HP USB Docking Station.

Because it has universal USB connectivity, it can quickly attach to HP and just about every other model notebook that has a USB slot.

This particular docking station provides excellent resolution, including VGA (1600×1200) and DVI (1680×1050), as well as jacks for your headphones and a microphone.

It uses Plug and Play, which is an onboard flash memory module. Thus, there is need for a CD, as it stores the installation software drivers.

It is compatable with XP and Vista, up to Vista 64.

Here is what a few users have to say about it:

Using to connect a second monitor to my new HP ProBook running. Far superior to the Dell D600 with Universal Dock that it replaced. I have my USB mouse connected directly to the laptop. No problems with scrolling the display.

I really like this dock. I use it with my Dell Latitude laptop. After I updated my system with drivers from display link the performance, especially in video, got better.

I really like the feature of using second monitor as an extension of the laptop. Now I can watch a movie and work at the same time!
