Lenovo Docking Station

Using a Lenovo Docking Station is a great way to expand the function of your IBM X60 ThinkPad tablet computer. I really like it because even when it is attached, my tablet is still small enough to carry anywhere.

It works very easily, as it snaps right in to the UltraBase of the unit, making it a simple, quick-attach solution that adds a wide array of expansion capabilities to your tablet pc.

It is perfect for use at home, in the office or while on the road.

It also features an Ultrabay slim bay for device expansion that supports the Ultrabay slim CD-RW/DVD-ROM Combo and Multi Burner drives.

It can even house a second ThinkPad hard drive if you get the optional HDD installation kit.

Some of the common features include audio/video capability, integrated stereo speakers, microphone in, headphone out and VGA monitor out.

It is constructed with 2 communication ports, an RJ-45 and a modem RJ-11 jack, as well as standard device ports that include four USB 2.0, serial and parallel slots.

This docking station has an integrated key lock and optional cable lock slot to secure your ThinkPad X60 Tablet and your ThinkPad X6 Tablet UltraBase.

This docking station uses a ThinkPad 65W AC Adapter, which ships with ThinkPad X60 Tablet systems and is available separately as an option.

It comes with a 3 warranty from Lenovo and there is service and support for the unit that is available directly from IBM
